Clear WhatsApp: privacy policy

Applies to the Clear WhatsApp console at whatsapp.clear-er.com and the “Clear WhatsApp for Vincere” browser extension. Last updated 24 September 2026.

Who this is for

The console and extension are internal tools for consultants at Clear Recruitment. They are not offered to the public. Clear Recruitment is the data controller; Limivex (Limivex Sales & Marketing Consultants) builds and runs the service on Clear's behalf.

What the extension does with data

The extension only acts when a consultant presses its Send to WhatsApp campaign button on a Vincere page. It then reads the candidates the consultant has ticked (name, mobile number, email, current job title, city and Vincere candidate id) from Vincere using the consultant's own signed-in session, and sends that list to the consultant's own account on whatsapp.clear-er.com so a campaign can be prepared. Afterwards, while the consultant has Vincere open, it adds a comment to each candidate's Vincere record noting the WhatsApp messages sent to them and any reply, so Clear keeps a record of every contact.

It stores one item in the browser: a key that connects it to the consultant's console account. It does not read browsing history, does not run on other websites, does not track activity, and does not send data anywhere other than whatsapp.clear-er.com.

What the console stores

For each consultant: their name, email and settings. For candidates they choose to message: the details above, whether they agreed to be contacted, whether they opted out, and the messages sent and received through the consultant's linked WhatsApp number, with delivery and read status. Messages are sent through Green API, which connects to the consultant's WhatsApp account.

How it is protected

Data is held on a server in the EU (Hetzner), encrypted in transit, with WhatsApp connection tokens encrypted at rest and daily encrypted backups. Only signed-in Clear staff can see their own campaigns; administrators can see all.

Opting out and your rights

Anyone who replies STOP is removed automatically and not messaged again. To see, correct or delete the data held about you, email info@limivex.com.

Selling or sharing

Data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared outside Clear Recruitment and the processors named here.
